Mrs. Zelina Silber is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who graduated Suma Cum Laude from Touro University with her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has experience working with teens and adults with Mood Disorders and Personality Disorders, and her areas of clinical emphasis include evidence-based treatments for anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress (PTSD), codependency and substance abuse.
Zelina recognizes that while seeking out therapy may at times feel overwhelming, the potential benefits of discovering one’s inner strength, finding deeper understanding, and experiencing healing constitute a wonderful investment in ourselves and our relationships. While providing therapy, she also believes in the advocacy of mental health awareness and how much therapy can serve as an ally during some of life’s most challenging seasons.
Zelina completed an Externship in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, and practices EFT to help couples gain deeper understanding and connection with one another. She feels honored to be a resource to those needing help in navigating the most difficult moments in life. Zelina is currently completing her hours for independent licensure under the clinical supervision of Julianne Hicks, LMFT (103638).
