Our Professional Therapists

Sara is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist working toward licensure, currently completing her hours under the clinical supervision of Julianne Hicks, LMFT (103638). She is passionate about helping adults and couples create deeper, more fulfilling connections in their lives and relationships. Before becoming a therapist, Ms. Perez spent many years as a stay-at-home mother, an experience that shaped her understanding of love, resilience, and the transitions we face throughout life.

 

In therapy, Ms. Perez strives to create a warm, accepting, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel safe to explore experiences and emotions. Her approach is grounded in genuine empathy and a belief that healing happens through authentic, supportive relationships. She welcomes faith-based conversations for those who wish to integrate their spirituality into the therapeutic process.

 

Ms. Perez has completed extensive training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and is currently working toward certification. Her work is centered on helping individuals and couples feel more understood, connected, and secure—both within themselves and in their most important relationships.
